The Revolution Will Not Be Televised: It Will Be Digital

The students will be able to determine as a whole class what they wish to disseminate to others as the voices of their time.  They will be able to compile these artist, etc. into a digital space, a Google classroom, and then share it with another high school class who is also working on a similar project.  Then they would be able to comment and discuss digitally whether they agree or disagree with other classes selections.

The idea is for them to develop a good cache of artist, writers, painters, sculptors, rappers, etc so that there can be a great exchange of ideas and dialogue amongst themselves.  The idea is for them to begin to take ownership and responsibility for their collective voice.  The goal is for the students to understand how powerful a unified voice and position can be and how historically literature and the arts have been used to fight for our culture and our rights.
