Resources for Teachers
The Teachers Institute of Philadelphia at Penn connects public school teachers to the vast informational, historical, and cultural holdings of the University of Pennsylvania in its libraries and museums. Further, some seminar topics may involve the exploration of the cultural and institutional riches of Philadelphia.
TIP supports Fellows' research with a library orientation, writing and curriculum workshops, and individual conferences with Seminar Leaders. Fellows will find a collegial atmosphere in which teachers with TIP experience, teachers from different schools, and of course, the Penn Seminar Leaders, become personal and professional resources.
TIP's archive of curriculum units created by TIP Fellows grows each year, and is a valuable resource for teachers everywhere.
